Sales Policy
Ordering
US and Canadian customers may order directly over the Internet
by use of a
credit card.
Overseas customers may order by e-mail at InternationalSales@FightingArts.com
but payment must be made by money order or other means of secured payment. By
ordering, customers assume full legal responsibility for risk of damage or loss
during shipment.
Prices and terms are subject to change without notice. Shipping and handling
charge will be added to the product order cost. New York State customers will
also be charged sales tax. Canadian and overseas customers may be subject to other
duties, fees or taxes.
US and Canadian customers may pay with their Visa, MasterCard, American Express
or Discover credit card. Before overseas orders may be shipped, FightingArts.com
must have received payment by wire transfer or money order in U.S. dollars.
Orders are normally shipped at the most reasonable rates. Items in stock will
be shipped via UPS within 24 to 48 hours of receipt of order. Customers will be
advised if an item or items are backordered. Please allow 5 to 10 business days
for delivery. Air shipment and other delivery methods are also available at additional
cost.
Sales of all books, videos, CD's and artwork are final. As to uniforms and
protective equipment, returns will be allowed only for sizing problems. FightingArts.com
will not accept any returns without prior authorization and issuance of a Return
Authorization Number (RAN). As to returns of new uniforms they cannot have
been washed, worn, soiled or damaged and will be accepted within 15 days of
purchase by FightingArts.com for credit or exchange, if returned in original
packaging. Otherwise, all sales are final. The customer will be charged for
any price difference in sizes or models. The customer is responsible for shipping
charges on returned merchandise, unless said items are returned due to an error
on the part of FightingArts.com.
Merchandise is warranted for 30 days from date of shipment against defects
in material or workmanship. It is expected that the customer will use reasonable
care and judgment in the use of all purchased products. The warranty on uniforms
is voided if bleach is used in washing. Uniform ties and drawstrings are not warranted.
Protective equipment, bags, focus mitts and kicking shields are not warranted
against puncture from pointed or sharp objects or damage from strong chemicals.
No warranty will be honored unless the customer receives prior approval for return,
along with a RAN. Customers are responsible for return shipment cost.
Uniforms may be washed in warm or cold water, using detergents with bleach
alternatives. Washing uniforms with bleach may damage or weaken the uniform and
will void the warranty. The customer understands all measurements of uniform size
are before washing. Washing may cause shrinkage. Pure cotton and lighter materials
will shrink more, though even cotton/poly blends may shrink, and quilted material
will shrink more than canvas. To minimize shrinkage, wash uniforms in cold water
and line dry. Please take possible shrinkage into consideration before ordering.
Martial arts practice, sparring, or practicing techniques with or against another
person or an inanimate object can be dangerous. Participating in martial arts
activities, even while wearing safety gear supplied by FightingArts.com, may result
in injury or death. FightingArts.com makes no warranties and disclaims any liability
thereof.
