MAIN PRESENTATION: O'Sensei's Life and Message
Following live demonstrations by a variety of senior Aikido teachers, including direct students of O'Sensei, John Stevens will speak and show unpublished images of O'Sensei, the Founder of Aikido, and his calligraphy.
A reception will follow in the lobby.
John Stevens is an internationally acclaimed scholar and one of the foremost authorities on Aikido and Buddhist studies. Professor Stevens taught Eastern Philosophy at Tohoku Fukushi University in Japan for 35 years and has written over thirty books on Aikido, Buddhism and Asian culture.
